Your Space

(PC User Illustration) "Your Space” is an opportunity to submit your ideas and opinions on issues related to Milwaukee County’s Long-Term Care Planning process, which seeks to expand Family Care to adults with disabilities between the ages of 18-59 (Currently, Family Care is available to persons 60 and over).

Although the reform plan for Milwaukee County's long-term care system is expected to be ready in 2008, your input is still necessary and much appreciated.

We are currently seeking input from the community on issues related to:

Quality of Life

One of the major goals of the Family Care expansion is assuring that people with disabilities have good quality of life as it relates to both health and community living.

Our current questions for you are:

Question 1. What do people with disabilities need from the long-term care system to help them feel safe and enjoy the best possible health?

Question 2. What do people with disabilities need from the long-term care system to help them live full lives within the community?

Use the form below to send us your input. Your information will not be posted on this website, but will be considered by the planners.
