Locally, Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. (4C) has taken a lead in addressing the barriers encountered by families looking for child care for children with special needs.

The Planning Council for Health and Human Services was asked by 4C to examine the extent to which child care providers in Milwaukee County are prepared to engage in full community-wide inclusion.
