Developing Cross Systems Workshops

Laying the foundation for more integrated service delivery systems.

In 1999, the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services contracted with the Planning Council for Health and Human Services to manage the first year of the Milwaukee Family Services Coordination Initiative. As part of this contract the Planning Council, together with local providers created and conducted a series of workshops to lay the foundation for new relationships between different systems of services. The Manual describing the workshops can be found on the Reports page.

For a hardcopy of the manual contact the Planning Council for Health and Human Services, Inc. at 414-224-0404.

In 2004, a PowerPoint presentation was developed together with Meta House, a nationally recognized substance abuse treatment program for women, to support a workshop on cross systems collaboration at the 1st National conference on substance Abuse, Child Welfare and the Dependency Court. The presentation was made by Francine Feinberg, Psy.D. LCSW, Executive Director, Meta House, Inc. and Louise Lapine, Ph.D., Research Director of the Planning Council for Health and Human Services, Inc..
