It’s All About a Community's Health and Well Being

Welcome to the Planning Council for Health and Human Services. Primarily serving counties in Southeastern Wisconsin, our mission is to advance community health and human services through planning, evaluation, and research. The Planning Council assists our clients and partners to figure out What Works for our community.

Whether we are looking for best practices, bringing stakeholders together to address issues and solve problems, conducting research and making sense of the data, or assisting service providers in program critiques, we help clients “connect the dots” to create and sustain a healthy community. Community leaders, decision makers, funding bodies and other clients and partners of the Planning Council are making a statement to the general public that they are committed to advancing and improving our community’s health and well-being and figuring out What Works in Southeastern Wisconsin. Being mindful of the resources available, the Planning Council engages real people across sectors and systems, uses research and data to inform new solutions, and shares What Works with the whole community.
